Community Events
Garden Workday: (TBD) Parents and students meet on a weekend in early spring to help get the garden in shape for planting.
Handmade Holidays: (December) After school event usually in early December for kids to make crafts for family and friends.
Los Cerritos Reads and Movie Night: (TBD) Students are encouraged to read the same book during the month of March. A series of questions are sent home to spark dialogue in the household. At the end of the month, families are invited to watch the movie of the book we read at Los Cerritos.
Los "Scare" -rritos Fal Festival: (October) Los Cerritos families are invited to dress up, play games, collect candy and more at this evening event held on the Los Cerritos playground.
Parents and Pastries: (March) The PTA provides coffee and pastries for this casual gathering in front of the auditorium before school for families to get to know each other.
Donations are always welcome! You can even choose to make small payments every month - Just select Monthly Payments.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
We are always looking for volunteers to lead events or just help out. Any amount of time or help you can provide is appreciated. Check out the Event pages for their individual sign up sheets to see where you can help. Google forms are also sent via email via the Classroom Room Parents and weekly Principal Newsletters
