Room Parents are so important to helping to connect our parents, teachers and PTA. Responsibilities include:
- Recruit and coordinate volunteers for PTA events and fundraisers
- Send out reminders/ sign up sheets about events, activities, fundraisers, etc
- Encourage parents/guardians to register at loscerritospta.org, so they will receive a weekly email and you can directly contact them
- Coordinate activities for Teacher Appreciation week.
- Connect parents/guardians with each other and the PTA
- Coordinate support for the teacher
- Collect money from parents/guardians and organize teacher gifts for holidays and birthdays.
- giftcrowd.com allows parents to donate directly to provide the teacher to select from over 100 retailers.
- Provide feedback to the PTA about how to better support Los Cerritos families and teachers.
Donations are always welcome! You can even choose to make small payments every month - Just select Monthly Payments.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
We are always looking for volunteers to lead events or just help out. Any amount of time or help you can provide is appreciated.
